Mobile Phone Security - MSc Thesis

Abstract:This thesis explains how security has been taken into consideration by mobile phone software engineers. It also presents cases where developers have not been taught by the mistakes of the computing industry. In the experimental part of this thesis, it is demonstrated how a Virus can be implemented to infect mobile phones and bypass security mechanisms. With the demo virus, an attacker can brake through security mechanisms and compromise Confidentiality, Integrity and Authenticity.
